Motion Capture Uses

Motion Capture Interaction - Museums

From time to time we get requests for museum installations that use motion capture of attendees to allow them to interact with a display. Projects like this can be somewhat involved based on requirements and costs and ease of operation by non-technical individuals. On the other hand please sort of projects are very popular with museum attendees.

We recently completed a project that paired the PhaseSpace motion capture system with 3D software that was able to animate a 3D muscle and skeleton figure representing the attendee in realtime.

There can be a fair bit of consultation and planning going into a project such as this though we are glad to participate and advise assuming that the project is real and has a budget.

Please contact us if you would like further information about various options to help you fulfill your installation-based museum motion capture requirements.
