Motion capture technology is useful for speeding up and improving upon the process of content creation for training materials. Many of the technologies that we provide generate realtime data that is clean enough to be used as is for production of training materials. Once the data is captured it can be refined as necessary depending upon the usage.
Some of our realtime technologies that help speed up the content creation process are Animazoo's Gypsy and IGS-190 systems, the PhaseSpace active optical motion capture systems.
Though not a realtime system iPiSoft Desktop Motion capture software is an extremely cost-effective method for capturing motion. The system for educational use comprised of software and 4 Sony Eyecams and USB extension cables costs about $500. The software part of this price skills greatly with purchase quantities greater than one.
